Foreword
The category I have chosen is the competitive pre-school or child care sector. With many young families and high demand for pre-school services in Singapore, child care operator websites may be the first stop for some busy parents to determine if the centre is a suitable learning place for their child. Each child care centre brand has at least 10 centres under their wing locally. They are established in the industry and well-trusted by parents. All reviewed websites are presented in English and no translator function is available to cater to those who knows only Chinese or Malay for example. Not working in the sector, I shall view the sites as a single user perspective in Internet Explorer.
Based on the 10 attributes for content (information presented) and design, I explained my views below, and have also ranked the sites. The 3 websites are (in order of review)
